From our farms in Suffolk and the heart of England comes this season’s crop of Saxon’s British Asparagus, famous for its freshness, flavour and superior taste.
With the asparagus season traditionally beginning on St Georges Day, our team of over one hundred harvesters will be busy for the next eight weeks producing three superb varieties; Saxon’s Spears, Saxons King and the amazing Saxon’s Royal Purple.
Saxon’s Asparagus is certainly ‘the true taste of Britain’, a versatile vegetable that’s delicious when boiled, steamed, roasted, grilled or even fried! It’s also low in calories and fat, full of fibre… and packed with essential vitamins. Healthy? You bet!
