Wealmoor’s Approach and Commitments to Supporting the Delivery of the Sustainable Development Goals
The pressure on the Earth’s resources, the impact of climate change and the growing global population are increasing the need for change in how food, and the type of food is sourced, produced and consumed. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are recognised as the foundation on which to drive positive change and address the challenges faced.
At Wealmoor the journey for change has already begun. For many years we have worked in partnership with our global and local communities and put sustainability at the heart of what we do. We have always recognised the vital role agriculture can play as a catalyst for change across the world and have continued to use our knowledge and expertise to help improve the lives of workers and local communities.

We recognise the importance to make a positive impact towards the Sustainable Development Goals and have chosen to focus our efforts primarily on Goals 5 , 8 and 12. These Goals best align with our business purpose and are areas which we have historically focused on and are passionate about improving.
