The Wealmoor Journey

Supply Chain

Working with highly perishable goods means that for many products, the clock starts ticking from the moment we harvest. Maintaining the cool chain after harvest is critical to ensure product is delivered to our customers in peak condition. In hot climates, we use charcoal coolers in the fields to keep the product as cool as possible until it gets to modern, temperature controlled packhouses. It is then graded according to quality and packed for to the airport. Much of our product that is grown abroad is carried in the belly of passenger jets to the UK. As soon as it lands, we collect it from the local Heathrow airport and bring it to our customs bonded warehouse, where our in-house imports team clears the arrivals. Providing the most proficient supply chain ensures our premium quality produce is delivered to our customers with maximum life.
